About LEIH LLC
Video tells the story better
A big part of my legacy is to share my story, freely, in hopes that someone might find a spark of themselves in me. The truth is that we all either have suffered or will suffer. What makes life truly incredible is how much more beauty can be magnified in the lowest of moments if you find your way to lookup. Just even for a moment. It’s in that kind of beauty that I find always the awestruck curiosity of living for life that much more deeply. As someone who is committed to their personal healing, I am also committed to yours. It’s not just for me, it’s for us. However my life feels for you, I just hope that you feel the depth that my soul longs to connect to the world around me, deeper, and to all I have the chance to meet. I am curious about you. I am curious about us. Why are we here? What should we be doing? Those are the questions that I live to learn the answers. Former Sunshine Acres Child Joins Marketing Team For New Product Philanthropy Nonprofit In Arizona
The connection Heather Leih had with Sunshine Acres Children's Home, starting at 14 years old, might have seemed to come to an end when she left at age 17 after her mother passed away from ovarian cancer. Sunshine Acres Children’s Home in Mesa, Arizona has assisted over 2,000 children who have been separated from their parents since 1954. All of this has been done without any state or federal funding.
It was because of the care provided to Heather in her younger years that she knew she had received a true gift and would return to give back one day. Most children who experience multiple childhood traumas have a higher risk of multiple vulnerabilities in adulthood. Some of these are teen pregnancy, depression, homelessness, suicide and suicidal idealations, human trafficking, entering the criminal justice system, relationships that result in domestic violence, chronic diseases and leading causes of death such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and suicide.
