“Friday With The Boys” Film & Video Test Project
I have been doing mini-creative test projects with my camera to refine my shooting style and video editing process. I also wanted to test myself to make sure that I captured quality material to create an engaging storyline in a short time period. Thankfully, these wonderful gentlemen, whom I happened to see as I almost was about to leave, were so kind to allow me to film! What a fun crew! I was so happy to have been the fly on the wall to watch them in their element.
I shot this material I believe in less than an hour..maybe even a quick 30! Either way, it was hard to take your eyes off of them. The software I am using to edit is Da Vinci. The camera I am using is a G85. The lens I am using is a 12-35mm.
I have been recording videos since I was a very little girl and we always watched incredibly cinematic movies. As someone who was an engineer and in the actor’s guild, my father always inspired my creative energy early on. After my mother's father passed away, we were gifted his camcorder. That's when I became obsessed with creating stories and capturing things on film, both acted out in barbie form or all my sisters playing dress-up. I LOVE even more to watch people thrive in their natural elements. I love seeing the true beauty people have when they are grounded in who they are and are inspired by people around them who care. I hoped you enjoyed this special light that this was to see. There’s been a lot going on recently and this was truly a therapeutic video. It’s always a gift to see genuine happiness or joy in life. Savor those moments and breathe every free part in that you can.
