The Time Has Come - Short Film
It was my honor to research and coordinate with “Arizona Free Iran” and create this short film - “The Time Has Come”.
Our goal was to educate the masses on the facts of what is happening right now in Iran. As you may already know, algorithms on social media platforms are the dividing factor we all have in being collectively aware of various world and local issues. It can become a very mindless process of scrolling through endless clips of content. You might not even be aware that your platform is limiting you to receive important or life-altering news before it’s too late due to your recent cycle of liked or shared content.
As any GOOD marketer will ask before picking up any project, the first question should always be, “What it’s the point?”. The POINT of creating content for the people of Iran is to ensure that the full scope of the events is transparently laid out in a non-biased way. The POINT of creating effective content for the people of Iran is to ensure that the full historical story is at the forefront. What has been tried before in the past and what has ended as the result. The point is creating content so people can understand that this is a HUMANITY issue, not just an Iranian issue. The POINT of creating effective content for the people of Iran is to take action on the question I ask myself, “If I don’t, who will?”.
As history will show, there is always long-term consequences on everyone when we do not put the necessary time and action into changing things that go against our human nature. Inaction is like a disease. It festers in our subconscious minds, communities, and nations and manifests as joyless, heartless, purposeless existences. You feel injustice when it happens. You can’t explain it, but the violation is very real. We all have universally felt violated, and as such, we as humans have the obligation to help others who are not able to help themselves when abuse of power is being inflicted.
